The Most AMAZING Wedding
We got married on August 10th, 2011 in the Bountiful Temple! It was absolutely AMAZING! I never could of asked for anything better! It was bright and early when I woke up for the day at 5:30 am. I got all my things for the wedding, and suitcases for the honeymoon packed in the car and was in Salt Lake at 7:00 am to have my hair done by Steph, Casey's sister, and it looked amazing!! She did such a wonderful job!!! Then it was off to the temple to get ready for the wedding at 9:45 am. I can't say that I was nervous at all. I was just so excited I couldn't sit still! the brides room was beautiful and everyone was so nice and helpful.
Putting on my dress took time, but was well worth it. we had the corset to lace up, the bottom and top of the dress to put on, and lace up my dress, which consisted of lacing it up loosely, adjusting the front, tightening the lace, adjusting the front, and tightening the lace one last time. My mom and a temple worker helped with the dress which cut down the time a ton (it normally takes 20 min to put it on).
Then it was off to see Casey!! I was so excited! Everyone kept laughing because I was literally jumping for joy. I couldn't sit still at all and had a huge smile on my face the entire time! The ceremony was really special for Casey and I. Coming out of the temple was so much fun, but that's when I got nervous, but only a little! We talked, hugged, and kissed all the family then took a ton of pictures, which I will be putting up once we get them from the photographer.
My mom, dad, Chalen, and her kids stayed when the photographer took the pictures of the two of us. Annika and Eliza helped me hold my dress and flowers as we walked around. I loved having them there to help, even though I didn't really need it. They were so excited to walk around and I loved every minute being with them.
After pictures it was Casey and I, and my mom and dad. We didn't really think of the car situation, and we ended up stuffed into the car! My dad was holding my dress and Casey's tux in the front seat and I had a box on my lap which was perfect so Casey and I could make out in the back! Ha ha! Not really, though. :)
Everyone was starving by the time we got to the church for lunch. Casey's mom and aunt had the entire thing set up. Everyone was anxiously waiting for us to eat, so when we walked in and everyone started clapping, I think it was just because they were so happy to be able to finally eat. It was really nice to have a little down time to enjoy being around the family and to actually be able to talk to everyone.
After the families helped clean up the lunch mess, Casey's sister, Jenny, took Casey and I to the house where we were having the reception. I took a much needed nap while Casey helped with some last minute set up details. I only had two hours of sleep that night!
Then it was time for more pictures. We took pictures with the families around the outside of the house, which was a lot of fun, especially when we did a picture with all of the nieces and nephews from my side and Casey's side. We each had two kids to hold and then all the others were placed around us, 13 altogether. What a crew!! The pictures took a little longer at the house, because we had to keep rounding everyone up! and by the end I'm sure everyone was tired of smiling. To bad we had to do it for another 2 hours!
The Reception was honestly a blur! There were so many people we talked to, and our line stayed consistent the entire time. they had water for us to drink in a cooler, and would keep asking us if we wanted any Italian Ice. I kept with the coconut, which is my favorite, but is white that case it wouldn't look horrible if I spilled (you know how clumsy I am!!). Around 8:30 we went to cut the cake. we were both nice to each other and didn't get to much smeared on our faces! the cake was red velvet with a cream cheese filling! It was my absolute favorite :) I through my bouquet, which the wind caught and dropped it right behind me, Eliza went and grabbed it (which I plan on giving her a little something for that) but they decided to move me and throw it again. which my sister Brooke, just younger then me caught!! Next it was Casey's turn. And wow, did he have fun!! we dove in to get it with his teeth. The pictures of my face are absolutely awesome!! He threw it and it barely missed the boys, Zac, my older brother, was the winner by picking it up. So now the race is on between Zac and Brooke to see who gets married first!! This is going to be fun :)
Just remember, we don't have any pictures because the photographer hasn't sent them down, but we will be posting them here as soon as we get them!

Our Cute Apartment!!

| This is our Kitchen :) I used flowers from the reception! they are on top of the cabinets |
More of the flowers and the other side of the Kitchen. it would me a couple of days to put it together
The dining room, with our cabinets of food :)
Some more flowers from the wedding!! I think they are so cute!
Our living room is a little crowded.. but still is nice! my flowers are displayed under the coffee table
our living room! it took me a while to decide what looked good above all those movies!
The sign in book from the reception, a picture book, and our project we made in Cancun! (the blue candle holder)
The hallway to the bathroom and bedrooms. I still haven't figured out what to put up by those flowers
One bathroom wall. I got these pictures in Hawaii and wanted to use them since they matched the bathroom colors.
The sink is tiny! and we had to get a hook to hang the hand towel
Another picture from Hawaii, our shower curtain and the over the toilet cabinet Casey put together
We still have some work in our bedroom but its looking good!! a quit from Casey's mom, and more flowers from the wedding
Our dresser :)
Yup! I went there..
Cedar chest. I'm still working on taking off the wording on the pictures
My vanity!! So glad to have it back!!
So this is our apartment except the second bedroom. which we are still working on :) The colors in the rooms go with the colors of the wedding :) Green for the kitchen, Blue for the bathroom, and purple for the bedroom. and all of the rooms also go with black. Because we both love black!!
It took all week to get it all put together and finally looking like an apartment. before it was just so messy from all the wedding gifts and bringing the rest of my stuff down. The apartment gets small sometimes.. I get lonely being here all day. I can't wait to find a job!! by the time Casey comes home I follow him around.
I am getting used to the area and growing to love it. its been above 100 the past week, so its been really hot!! and with the mountains all around it makes me feel like its home :)
